On a mission to find Milwaukee's Best Bloody Mary

You say tomato, I say Bloody Mary.

Bosch Tavern | Hales Corners, Wisconsin

A family friend recommended Bosch Tavern to me, as it’s her favorite Bloody Mary in the area.  We recently found ourselves in Hales Corners so we figured, “why not?”

I have never been to Bosch but TJ has.  He went a few weeks ago having nothing but great things to say about the wings!  For this Sunday visit, we were just drinking.  Without a Packer game on, I was surprised with how crowded it was!  People love Bosch Tavern!

Mix: This mix was so smooth! It was a little too easy to drink! It was pretty thin with a spicy but strong lemon flavor. I didn’t taste much horseradish, worsershire or even pepper. This was a classic Bloody Mary.

Garnish: I have to admit, I was a little disappointed in the garnish at Bosch. I’m certainly content with some pickles and olives but… this just seemed so boring. A canned mushroom, green olive and pickle spear.  It also took a while to arrive to the table.  The server said the bartender was working on the garnish so I guess my hopes were high 🙂

Chaser: Yes. This came with a light beer chaser

Size: 16 ounce

Buzz: A small warmth!

Final word, I’d love to go back!  The Bloody Mary was a classic treat and I’d really like to try the wings.
